AK Handmade is an independent furniture studio based between London and New York. Founder Angelo Kangellaris meticulously designs and builds every piece by hand in his workshop. His work is grounded in good craftsmanship and experimentation with mixed materials.
After growing up in London as a carpenter, Angelo furthered his craft in Brooklyn, NY where he worked as a furniture maker for an independent furniture company while studying Industrial Design at NYU. After moving back to London in 2016, AK Handmade was born.
